Dear Friends,
Access to high-quality trails brings people closer to nature while creating new links between neighborhoods for pedestrians and cyclists. Trails are an essential part of a transportation network and provide a variety of health, economic and
environmental benefits.
Precinct One is committed to exploring and studying a possible hike-and-bike system along Carpenters Bayou that will connect the Northeast Precinct One region.
Your feedback on this study is important. It will help identify key issues, opportunities, and challenges for Carpenters Bayou and the surrounding landscape for future trail connectors.

Please join us at our first community feedback meeting for this proposed project on Tuesday, August 3 at 6pm in the Monument Room, Building 12, at the San Jacinto North Campus, located at 5800 Uvalde Road, Houston, TX
77049.
The meeting will begin with a short presentation of the study then you will be invited to give feedback and offer ideas. Although the funding for the project design and construction has not been committed, your input and the upcoming study will ensure that any potential future improvements meet the needs of you and your neighbors.
We encourage you to invite your neighbors to join us. You may forward this email, print this invite, or share this link to signup to receive future project updates.
Dinner will be provided to all those who attend, and Spanish interpreters as well as interpretation headsets will be available.
For updates on the study, check the project webpage.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
